The voter turnout has rested at 23.25 per cent till 11:00 AM this morning, said the State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sriram Taranikanti.
Setting beside all odds, the voting is underway in the state of Tripura amidst tight security guards in and around and especially in the vulnerable pockets.
The CEO informed, "The voting is currently underway in a peaceful manner everywhere and there is no report of any untoward incidents."
"There were technical glitches in EVMs and we have had difficulty in about 3% of the total voting machines across the State which were later put in place getting those replaced with fresh EVMs," adding the CEO further informed, "A team of about 180 engineers are helping us address such technical problems."
