At least 1000 voters joined BJP leaving CPI-M at 26 Asharambari constituency. Sources said that 620 voters from 280 families joined BJP leaving CPI-M including a DC Member of CPI-M at a meeting of BJP held at the ground near Banbazar village today.
Mandal president of BJP Pradip Debbarma presided over the meeting in presence of leaders Manoj Das, Samir Das, organizer Madhab Chakraborty, Goutam Roy, Bijoy Roy and Asim Das.
Criticizing financial corruption during term of CPI-M the leaders gave the responsibility on people to look after the proper implementation of Central Government projects.
In another meeting altogether 221 voters from 61 families joined BJP leaving CPI-M at Udna village under Banbazar Gram Panchayat which held at the premises of Udna Anganwadi Centre including some elected Panchayat members. General Secretary of Khowai district Manoj Das was present in the meeting.
Our correspondent from Udaipur added that altogether 761 voters joined BJP leaving CPI-M at a Paribartan Rally of BJP held at Shalgara – Kakraban Mandal yesterday. The new comers joined in presence of Mandal president Abhishek Debroy and District vice president Jitendra Majumder.
Welcoming the new comers Majumder appealed them to develop their way of thinking. Mandal president Abhishek Debroy stressed on maintaining discipline of the party. State committee Member Samir Chakraborty stressed on working by showing respect to all and offering devotion to Deshmata. Former Pradhan Subhash Debroy presided over the meeting.
Our correspondent from Santirbazar added that 202 voters from 64 families joined BJP leaving CPI-M under leadership of Tripura Minority Morcha president Lal Chand Badyakar. President of Minority Morcha of BJP Joshim Uddin welcomed the new comers by handing over party flag.
The meeting held at Muslim Para under Paticherri ADC village under Bagafa Block of Santirbazar. State Committee Member Haron Choudhury, president of district committee Bibhisan Das and G.S. of Santirbazar Mandal Sambu Mog were present in the meeting.
