The construction of Night Shelter House at Kailashahar subdivision will be completed in December this year. The 100 bedded Night Shelter house is being constructed to provide room for visitors at low cost who have to stay at night in town for some special purpose. An amount of Rs 1.5 crore will be spent for the construction.
Meanwhile structure of the three storied night shelter house completed nearby Kailashahar Town Hall. The construction of door, window and boundary wall is going on at present. The construction started in 2016.
Local contractor Salil Acharjee had got the work order after tender. The fund was allotted from Urban Development department. Kailashahar Municipal Council is in charge of supervision of the construction.
The shelter house will provide space to the visitors at least expense who will visit for some special purpose. The municipal council will prepare rules and regulations of staying at the house.
