Karnataka Large and Medium Industries on Monday said Karnataka government had a ‘fruitful’ meeting with the iPhone maker Foxconn about the projects for which the company is keen to invest in the state.

A total of 108 projects worth Rs 2,273.44 crore were sanctioned under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS) from 2019-23, Union Minister for Development of North-East Region (DoNER) said on Monday.

Prince Shahamat Jah, the grandson of the last Nizam of Hyderabad State Mir Osman Ali Khan, has passed away after a brief illness. He was 68. He breathed his last at a hospital in Hyderabad on Sunday evening.
