The G20 New Delhi Leaders' Declaration has called for a "comprehensive, just, and durable peace in Ukraine" and urged member states to "refrain from the threat of use of force to seek territorial acquisition" or act against the territorial integrity of any state.

Spain’s Vice President Nadia Calvino on Saturday said that there has been a strong call for the reinforcement of multilateralism and confidence in "our joint ability to cooperate and to work together to face global challenges such as climate change."

Climate change, environmental degradation, unsustainable consumption and production and resource scarcity are challenges that can only be addressed collectively and with a great deal of solidarity, he added.

As Chinese President Xi Jinping skipped the G20 Summit in New Delhi, the US on Saturday said that it was up to the Beijing government to explain his absence from the multilateral event.
