Search operations for the missing 152 people continued on Friday, the 11th day of Kerala’s worst-ever natural calamity in Waynand in which 413 casualties have taken place so far.

The death toll in the landslide-affected Wayanad in Kerala reached 413 on Thursday as the search for 152 missing people continued on day 10.

Over 1,000 people from the Defence and other agencies led by a team of officials began the search operations early morning.

As the Wayanad landslide toll reached 84, Kerala Chief Secretary, Dr V Venu, in a statement said that taking into account the grave tragedy, the state will observe two days’ official mourning on Tuesday and Wednesday.
