The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday conducted raids at residences of RJD law makers and close aides of former Railway minister Lalu Prasad in Bhojpur district in connection with its probe into the IRCTC land-for-job case.

As soon as the district administration initiated the process of attachment of property of the nine accused in the morning, seven of them, including Bajrang dal District convener Kundan Kumar, surrendered before Nalanda police.

"The deceased is a 70-year-old woman, a native of Makhdumpur village in Gaya district. She was admitted to Magadh medical college and hospital in Gaya three days ago after the complaint of uneasiness in breathing," said Dr Ranjan Kumar Singh, civil surgeon of Gaya.
