State SM Cup Football Event to get underway from tomorrow

AGARTALA:

State Level Subrata Mukherjee cup football tournament will start from tomorrow as on the opening day one match each from Boy’s and Girl’s section will be held. In the Boy’s section Khowai District to take on Unakoti District at Kulai in Ambassa while in the Girl’s section, Tripura Sports School will face Gomati District as the match will be held at Abhoynagar School field in Belonia. All the matches in the tournament will be comprised of 70 minutes.

9 groups each from both the sections have been divided into two groups within their section. All the teams have done their final preparation for this tournament. In this tournament from west district Don Bosco School will play in the Boy’s category while Vidyasagar Girl’s school will play in the Girl’s category. Tripura Sports School also did their final preparation today for their opening match as in the both the sections Tripura Sports School is looking forward to become state champion. The news has been announced today on behalf of State School Sports Board.
