Mungiakami Girl’s School football team under the leadership of Captain Rupa Debbarma reached to the National Capital New Delhi today to play in the upcoming Subrata Mukherjee cup football tournament.
In the tournament this school will represent Tripura in the Girl’s category. Tripura will play their opening match on September 7.
The entire team looked very much tired after this hectic journey as they left for the tournament on August 31 and spent two days at Guwahati Railway station due to heavy rain at Bihar as train was stopped that moment. The whole team will do light practice tomorrow.
