To remove the pension disparity among the similarly situation poor pensioners of the Government undertakings, to provide an interim relief to the pensioners of Tripura government undertakings within a month pending removal of pension of disparity as stated above along with a total of 2 charter points of demands the members of EPS pensioners association staged road blockade at circuit.
The EPS pensioners association also later placed deputation to Governor Tathagata Roy.
Talking to media, All Tripura EPS pensioners and employees association General Secretary Durgesh Ranjan Chowdhury stated that they have been fighting for the fulfillment of their demand but so far no action is taken by the concerned authority to fulfill their demands.
