Notably, the areas like Machli, Karamchara, Naiting Chara are one of the fertile lands for potato cultivation. Every year the farmers sow potato seeds in the mid-November but this year the scarce of the Potash halted the usual process. This particular situation also led a stall for other agri-products.
Locals alleged, Potash is very important in terms of potato under produces could be grown in this period of time. Usually, the sowing process meets an end in the early December but this year the farmers are still struggling to sow their seeds owing the crisis.
