Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Thursday chaired a comprehensive review meeting on developmental works in Dhalai district in his capacity as the Guardian Minister of the district. The meeting, held at the office of the District Magistrate in Ambassa, focused on reviewing ongoing projects and formulating a roadmap for the district's overall development.
Addressing senior district officials, Nath said the government's primary objective is to make Dhalai economically self-reliant by creating employment opportunities and fostering an environment conducive to sustainable growth.
He stressed the need for effective coordination among departments to ensure the timely execution of development projects.
The Minister directed officials to accord priority to improving the quality of education and healthcare services while strengthening essential sectors such as drinking water supply, agriculture, road infrastructure, electricity and other public utilities. He also underscored the importance of ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach people living in the district's remote and rural areas in a transparent and time-bound manner.
Reviewing the progress of various centrally and state-sponsored schemes, Nath urged the district administration to maintain regular monitoring and expedite implementation to ensure that development initiatives translate into tangible benefits for the people.
Reiterating the government's commitment to inclusive growth, the Minister said the administration is working in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas."
He further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, the state government is committed to taking Dhalai district to new heights of development. The welfare, prosperity and overall progress of every resident of the district, he added, remain the government's highest priority.
