People will not be able to attain good health without the introduction of pucca toilet at all houses, said MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmik while inaugurating programme of World Toilet Day at Agnibina Community Hall of College Square in Belonia today.
DM of South Debapriyo Bardhan, SP J.S. Meena, ADM Hirendra Debbarma, CMO Swdesh Narayan Dutta, DEO Laxman Chandra Das and others were attended the programme organized with initiative of South District Administration.
Speaking on the occasion MLA Bhowmik stressed on disease free India with construction of pucca toilet at all houses. Referring the initiative of Prime Minister is producing result he said, “cleanliness has created an excitement like revolution in the country”. Terming it a good sign he said, “the day is not far where cleanliness free from odor and open deification will glitter at all directions if all of us fulfill our responsibility”.
He expected that all will build toilet at their own houses. Other speakers also expressed similar opinion during speech. Education Officer Laxman Chandra Das appealed all to consider toilet as temple of house to make all free from disease.
