Women’s League Football Event: Hat trick of win for Tripura Police

Tripura Police today registered their third win on the trot in the ongoing Women’s league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association. At Swami Vivekananda stadium Tripura Police defeated comparitably weak Simna XI by a huge margin of 5-2. With this win Tripura Police remained at the top slot in the points table.

In the 12th minute of the match Sobhadevi Jamatia scored the opening goal for Polcie while 6 minutes later Dipti Paul scored the second goal. In the 22nd minute Mithu Sarkar scored the third goal from penalty while in the 26th minute Aparna Orang reduced the gap.

In the second half Babita Orang scored the second goal for Simna XI while in the 45th minute Fudulu scored the fourth goal for Police while just before the end of the match Kabita Jamatia scored the fifth goal.
