In an incident of fraudulence case one woman was cheated by a youth by receiving fake smart card from him under Ayushman Project of Central Government.
The woman filed a case against the youth at Radhakishorepur Police Station. The incident already informed to CMO of Gomati district.
Sources said that Gita Sharma of South Matabari area submitted necessary documents to Kamal Kanti Dey at Tathya Mitra Kendra of Matabari area to get Smart Card under Ayushman Project introduced by Central Government. But she could not get the card for long time after submission of the documents. She alleged that the owner of the CSC centre has been harassing her showing reason of internet problem. Later Sharma offered Rs. 600 to the youth in two installments instead of Rs. 60 only. After receiving the bribe the youth hurriedly prepared fake smart card using ID number of another person and handed over to Gita Sharma.
The incident of cheating revealed when Sharma produced the card at the health centre. Later she filed a case against the cheater.
On being informed the District Administration took legal action against the CSC centre to cancel the ID number. Meanwhile DM T.K. Debnath instructed to SDPO to start investigation bringing both accused owner of CSC centre and complainant woman under control of investigation.
