In an incident of domestic violence wife and mother-in-law injured seriously by the attack of son-in-law at Chandrapur in Udaipur in last night. As a result his wife and mother-in-law injured seriously.
Sources said that the incident took place at ward no-1 of Chandrapur at 8 p.m. yesterday. An altercation started among house painter Purnendu Aich (43), his wife Paramita Kar (30) and mother-in-law Jharna Kar (48) when his mother-in – law came at the house. At about 8 p.m. Purnendu attacked Jharna Kar and Paramita with ‘dao’ and ‘takkal’ and injured them seriously.
On hearing hue and cry the neighbors rushed to the spot and shifted Paramita and Jharna to T.S. Subdivision Hospital in seriously injured condition. Both are under treatment now. But condition of Jharna Kar is still serious. The accused person absconded after the incident.
