In a move to overhaul the domestic tourism sector, Tripura Tourism Development Corporation has on today started weekend trip to Chabimura every Saturday and Sunday. Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy flagged off the bus at Agartala.
Speaking to the media persons, the transport Minister said that the state government was taking every possible step to boost up the possibilities of tourism in Tripura
"There are many places in the country where tourist spots have been opened entering wetlands. But, this (Chabimura) is an example of exceptional beauty. We have started this service to Chabimura two days a week. We will also connect to other places such as Sepahijala and Neer Mahal. We will also try to connect with Unakoti in the Northern part. We hope that the services are being provided only twice a week right now which would be extended upto every day" said the minister.
