An incident of twin murder created the situation tensed at Ward no -2 under Golakpur ADC village of Kailashahar today.
Sources said that chopped dead body of tea garden worker husband and wife Sanjit Kurmi (25) and Pratima Kurmi (Munda) (21) at early in the morning today. Son of Sanjib’s brother Hiro Kurmi started hue and cry observing two bodies and gave the information to others at 4 a.m.
On hearing the noise the neighbours rushed to the spot and saw the shocking scene. Some of them saw that one dweller of the house Dal Kumar Goala was fleeing with dao through the back door.
Sources said that Dal Kumar Goala was staying at a hut of their house while Kurmi family was staying at other two huts of the house. It is suspected that Dal Kumar had extra marital relationship with Pratima Munda while Dal Kumar has his own family at other place.
On being informed ASP Bappaditya Das, OC of Kailashahar Police Station reached to the spot at 10 a.m. Meanwhile police engaged dog squad in search of the murderer but failed get any trace.
OC said that investigation started in the meantime and they are expecting that the accused person would be caught shortly.
