TTA AITA Talent series Ends today

AGARTALA:

Top seeds in both the Boys & Girls Single’s Under 16 category succeeds in justifying their position at the just concluded TTA AITA Talent Series 2017, held at the State Tennis Complex.

Top seed in Boys Single’s Under 16, Justin Panmei of Odisha drubbed 3rd seeded Raghav Singhal of Bengal to lift the trophy by a straight 6-3, 6-3. In the Girls Singles Under 16 category, top seeded Varenya Ganesh somehow managed to surpass 2nd seeded Shireen Ahamed, both belonging to Bengal, by 6-1,7-6(4).

Secretary of Tripura Tennis Association, Sujit Roy was present during the prize distribution ceremony, along with Joint Secretary, Tripura Tennis Association Arup Saha, Life Member of the association Pranab Chowdhury and Tournament Referee, Chinmay Debbarma.

Rachin Ravindra has slowly emerged as a fan favourite of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) supporters, thanks to his eye-catchy strokes in the power-play, coming at a strike rate of 237.14. The New Zealand all-rounder, who’s stepped into the role of an injured Devon Conway, said being an opener is just about being a lot more comfortable at the top and is close to unlocking his potential in that position.
