In an attempt to provide better services to the visiting tourists in the state from abroad and other parts of the country, the Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Limited (TTDCL) has recently revamped the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) located in the arrival lounge of Agartala MBB Airport.
The information centre is restored to provide information about various tourist destinations, modes of travel - Taxi service, accommodation and travel guide. TTDCL official Pradip Sen is deployed in the information centre at Agartala Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport to aid the tourists.
This is worthy to mention here that earlier the TTDCL has started first ever Taxi service from the airport for the tourists in view of frequent footfalls in the state of Tripura. Meantime, the Tripura government is putting utmost effort to boost the tourism sector of this state aiming to grow the state’s economy and also to make Tripura one of the best tourist destinations in North East region of the country.
