As part of boosting the state’s tourism sector at large, the Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Limited (TTDCL) has started Taxi service from Agartala Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) airport to different areas of the capital town of the state. This will not only ease the flight passengers to reach Agartala with comfort ride of Taxi but also shall fuel the tourist attraction in the state.
The service has begun from Wednesday from the MBB airport. The TTDCL has also announced for photography and video-graphy competition focused on different tourist destinations of the state.
The competition that will begin from November 10 and continue till November 30 shall award the winners with Rs. 2000 for each photo and Rs. 5000 for each video. The winners will be nominated based on their top three photography and top two video-graphy both of high resolution.
However, the Tripura BJP lead coalition government has emphasized more on boosting the tourism sector of the state aiming to grow the state’s economy. As part of this the TTDCL has taken up series of initiatives in upgrading the tourist destinations across the state so as to attract more tourists from the state and abroad.
