Tripura MP Pratima Bhoumik demands compensation for farmers along Indo-Bangla border

In view of the farmers staring loss due to flood light installed in the bordering areas of the state, the MP for West Tripura parliamentary constituency Pratima Bhoumik on Friday urged upon the Union Minister for Agriculture and concerned central department to find out the feasibility of compensating the concerned farmers in the areas in Tripura bordering to Bangladesh.

MP Pratima Bhoumik was talking in the parliament while she demanded for compensation twice a year for the farmers.

However, according to the report informed in the parliament session on Friday, the farmers along the bordering areas of the state have been staring heft loss every year due to delayed ripening of paddy on account of excess photosynthesis over the installment of floodlight along India Bangladesh border in Tripura.
