Tripura Chief Minister also the BJP state President Biplab Deb after returning from Lok Sabha Poll campaign in West Bengal on Wednesday took on Mamata Banarjee government for cancelling series of road shows and party programme in different parts of Bengal.
Addressing press conference this evening Mr. Deb alleged, "Mamata Banarjee has instigated violence across Bengal targeting the Saffron supporters and turned the election process into farce in the state."
Mr. Deb continued saying Bengal is the only state where saffron supporters are being targeted in different occasions.
He said, "Even the BJP National President Amit Shah including PM Modi's party programmes were cancelled in different occasion in Bengal. Party flags, festoons and banners were damaged and vandalised prior campaigns." He alleged, "Mamata Banarjee have instigated her TMC supporters indulge in those activities."
Meantime, Mr. Deb urged upon the Election Commission of India to take legal step against Mamata Banarjee government in Bengal and save the people of this state from violence. He alleged, "Democracy is in stake in Bengal and the people of Bengal are required to be rescued from such violence instigated by Mamata Banarjee government."
