Teacher astonished be getting back purse with money from Retd. teacher

One tribal woman from out of the state got back her purse with Rs. 13,750 by the honesty of a local retired teacher.

Sources said that retired teacher Shantimoy Chakraborty, a resident of Rajnagar in Teliamura got the purse on National Highway before two days and deposited it to Teliamura Police Station.

Police recovered Rs. 13750, one ATM card, voter I-card and some other necessary documents from the purse. From the recovered documents police came to know that the purse was belonging to one tribal woman named Lalnunmawi from Mizorum.

Later police recovered address of the woman after lot of search. At last police handed over the purse with money to the woman today. The woman came from Mizoram in the state as a teacher at Kalvary Mission School in Taidu.

After getting the purse the lady teacher expressed her gratitude to Shantimoy Chakraborty and wanted to meet him. Accordingly police called Chakraborty at the police station. Then the lady teacher wanted to offer some amount to Chakraborty. But he refused to take anything in return. 

The woman was astonished by the honesty of the retired teacher.
