Tripura will face Bangladesh in their opening match in the upcoming Subrata Mukherjee Cup Girl’s football tournament which will start from September 7 at Delhi.
In this tournament Mungiakami Girl’s team will represent Tripura as they have been placed in Group G. The opening match will start from 4.30 pm at NMI field in New Delhi.
Apart from Bangladesh, Tripura will play their other matches against Delhi and Winner of match no 28. Both the matches will be held on back to back days from the opening match. From each group only one team will make place in the quarter final of the tournament.
After reaching at the venue yesterday, Tripura took part in today’s practice which started with medical test.
In the medical test all the players successfully got passed and players did some little stretching as they were tired after a hectic journey. After the session Coach Haripurna Jamatia said that they have been placed in a strong group but still all the players will do well in the tournament. Now the first target will be to win the opener which will give them huge amount of confidence.
