SM Cup Boy’s Football: TSC moves to semifinal

Tripura Sports School today displayed some brilliant football and made their place to the semifinal of the ongoing Subrata Mukherjee Cup Under 17 Boy’s tournament.

At Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi today Tripura Sports School defeated Goa by 3-1 in the quarterfinal. As a result Tripura will face Jharkhand Cell in the semifinal which will be held onSeptember 24.

From the start of the match Tripura played with 4-4-2 plan but after observing the opposition team for some time they changed their display and went for 4-4-3.

In the 15th minute Biswajit Debbarma scored the opening goal for Tripura but 8 minutes later Goa scored the equalizer. In the 70thminute Pahar Jamatia and 74th minute Sanjay Jamatia scored two back to back goals and Tripura won by 3-1.
