Sipahijala District level Science and Environment Fair inaugurated through a colouful programme at the premises of Sonamura Girl’s School today.
Eminent Agriculture Scientist Baharul Islam Majumder inaugurated the fair in presence of MLA Subhash Chandra Das. Altogether 47 models participated in the fair including 28 from Sonamura, 18 from Bishalgarh and one from Jampuijala.
Speaking on the occasion Majumder said, Science is the result of concentrated thoughts of human being who are the best creature of the earth. Referring science has brought forward to us from ancient period he expected that science would take us further towards future adding that development of civilization is not possible without science.
MLA Subhash Chandra Das appealed to accept the good effects and refuse the bad effects of science.
