Senior Cricket Tournament: Bishalgarh ends as runner up

BISHALGARH:

Bishalgarh High school became runners up in the ongoing Senior cricket tournament organized by Bishalgarh subdivision cricket association. Today they defeated Charilam by 6 wickets.

Batting first at Murabari field Charilam made 114 runs from 19.4 overs. Among the batsmen Sukanta Saha made 37 while Indrajit Debnath made 18. Among the Bishalgarh bowlers Dip Chakraborty picked up 4 wickets while Paritosh Paul and Laxman Paul picked up 2 wickets each.

In reply Bishalgarh achieved the target in just 16.3 overs losing 4 wickets. Among the batsmen Satyaban Das made 54 from 42 balls while Dip Chakraborty also showed his talent with the bat as he made 23 runs.

Among the Charilam bowlers Indrajit Debnath and Jamal Hussein picked up 2 wickets each. Bishalgarh High School won the match by 6 wickets.
