Ramkrishna Club today made a winning start while after losing two consecutive matches Sai Sag feels some kind of pressure in the ongoing Second Division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association. In the match today played at Swami Vivekananda stadium, Ramkrishna Club defeated Sai Sag by 2-1.
Though Ramkrishna Club made a winning start in the tournament but the team of Sujit Ghosh needs a lot to improve especially in the defence section as in today’s match lots of mismatching between the players have been seen as to get success in the rest of the match, the whole team need to make strong recovery in particular areas in coach will surely work on this.
But apart from this all the players gave their one hundred percent in the match and specially goal keeper Biswajit Deb. Last year he missed the event due to some misunderstanding and today he proved that he can be a premium goalkeeper of the state. In today’s match he was like ‘Wall Of China’ as he saved at least 3 goals from the opposition and made a solid mark.
In the 8th minute of the match Ramkrishna went 1-0 up when Parbat Koloi scored an outstanding goal with the help of Khanag Jamatia. 5 minutes later Sahajalal Mia scored the second goal and the lead went past 2-0. After that Ramkrishna tried their best but failed as just before the end of the match Kaushik Das scored the only goal for Sag but in the end Ramkrishna Club won by 2-1.
