Tripura will face Meghalaya in their opening match of Santosh Trophy North East zone football tournament on January 9 as next year the tournament will be held at Aizawl.
The tournament will be held from January 8-13 where in the group Tripura has been placed with Meghalaya and Manipur. On January in the second match of the tournament, Tripura will play against Manipur.
Those football players from Tripura who want to take part in the tournament will have to make report to Dilip Malakar, Joint Secretary of Tripura Football association.
The reporting time will be on December 18-19 at 6.00 pm at the office of Tripura Football association. Secretary of the association Dipen Ghosh announced the news today.
