Santosh Memorial cricket: Blood Mouth upset Satadal

Blood Mouth today defeated Satadal Sangha by 7 wickets in the ongoing Santosh Memorial ‘A’ division cricket tournament organized by Tripura Cricket association. The match was very much important for both the teams to stay in the tournament as in the end Blood Mouth snatched victory with the help of the bowlers and outstanding knock by Joykishan Saha. Batting first Satadal made 145 runs which have been chased down easily by Blood Mouth.

In the morning at Sahid Kajal stadium in Melaghar, batting first Satadal Sangha bundled out for 145 runs from 38.4 overs. Among the batsmen Krishnadhan Nama made 26 runs from 47 balls with 3 fours, Ranjit Debbarma made 24 from 27 balls with 4 fours, Sidarh Boladi made 23 from 20 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes, Tanmoy Deb made 21 from 51 balls with 3 fours while Tapas Rudra Paul made 20 from 31 balls with 4 fours as they failed to capitalize the good start.

Among the Blood Mouth bowlers Sahil Sultan, Neelambuj Vats and Parvez Sultan picked up 2 wickets each. In reply Blood Mouth achieved the target easily as they won the match in the 20th over itself losing just three wickets. Among the batsmen Joykishan Saha remained unbeaten on 61 from 51 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes, Rituraj Debnath made 31 from 31 balls with 3 fours while Shyam Sakil Gon remained unbeaten on run a ball 23 with 3 fours. Blood Mouth won by 7 wickets.
