Rebati meets Munda, seeks speedy establishment of Ekalavya schools

Newly elected Member of Parliament from East Tripura Parliamentary constituency and President of state Janajati Morcha of BJP, Rebati Tripura accompanied by Vice President of BJP Janajati Morcha Rampada Jamatia today met Tribal affairs Minister Arjun Munda today at Delhi.

Both the leaders handed over a memorandum to the minister seeking his intervention in speeding up the process of setting up Ekalavya model residential school in the ADC areas.

In his letter, Rebati Tripura highlighted that the Ekalvya schools that are proposed to be set up in the areas—Gandacherra, Dambur and Ganganagar block need “quick establishment” and urged the minister to send out necessary instructions.

The MP also sought some functional changes in the Ekalvya model schools so that the needy students could get benefitted. He urged the minister to increase the per class student capacity from 30 to 40 for the schools which are located in interior areas so that more and more students could take admission.
