Rebati demands Sainik School in East Tripura

AGARTALA:

Member of Parliament from East Tripura parliamentary constituency Rebati Kumar Tripura on Monday raised the issue of Sainik School in the parliament and urged the government to expedite the process of establishing the school in its constituency.

In his speech he said, after the introduction of right to education act, it has become the responsibility of the government to ensure quality education to all. But, in East Tripura—a tribal dominated area of the state, the children could not access quality education due to poverty.

“Due to poverty, the children remain bereft of quality education in my constituency. So, I urge the government to ensure quality education in the area through establishing a Sainik School” Rebati told the house.
