In a humanitarian act, West Tripura district MP Pratima Bhowmik saved life of elderly woman who fall victim of a dreaded accident. The victim, Bina Das, was dashed by a motorbike at Bisalagarh-Gokulnagar gate no 2. She sustained critical injuries and was about to fell unconscious.
MP Pratima Bhowmik, who was travelling to the area, spotted the elderly woman and took her to the hospital.
Reportedly, the woman had been dashed by a motorcycle and sustained injuries. The bike rider and the pillion rider also sustained injuries. All the injured persons bleeding preciously were lying on the roadside and asking for help.
Bhowmik, who was on her way to Sonamura spotted the injured person and wasted no time to take them to the hospital. All of them were brought to Tripura Medical College and Dr. BRAM hospital in MP’s own convoy. Not only this, Pratima also met the on-duty doctors and pleaded them to make arrangement of their treatment.
As per the last reports gathered from the hospital, all of the injured persons were under observation of the doctors.
On the other hand, police seized the motorcycle and took up a case in this regard.
