Aiming to make Tripura drug free the Tripura police is taking a heavy dig at controlling the drug menace in the state.
Reportedly, the Tripura Police today recovered Narcotics drugs & has also arrested three persons at Madhabbari Inter State Truck Terminus.
Talking to media, Ranir Bazar Police personnel stated that depending on relievable information they have conducted raid and recovered 40,000 nos of YABA Tablet and Rs 24,000/- cash at around 4:30 AM from Madhab Bari Inter State Truck Terminus.
They have also arrested three persons namely Manir Hussain (28), Alek Hussain (30) & Pritam Bhowmik (25) in this connection with their private vehicle bearing registration No. TR 01 AZ 0657 (Dustan) from the spot. The approximate value of the narcotics is around Rs 40.00 Lacs (Forty Lacs).
The raid was headed by SDPO Jirania Suman Majumder and OC Ranir Bazar Police Station Soumen Das along with their team.
