A week long NSS camp started at Kabi Nazrul H.S. School today with initiative of NSS Unit of the school. MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury inaugurated the programme with an inspiring speech.
The camp will continue up to February 6. Many special programmes will be organized in the camp including discussion on importance of voting by new voters, awareness on adverse affect of using poly bags, role of NSS volunteers in building nation, workshop on AIDS and Yoga, Swachcha Bharat Abhijan, ways of making Khowai river free from pollution, legal awareness seminar of prevention of domestic violence, Mega Health Camp at remote tribal areas and cloth distribution etc.
Among others SDM of Teliamura Bhaswar Bhattacharjee, Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Apu Gope, Headmaster Bishurai Debbarma were attended the programme.
