The Parliamentary Delegation of CPI-M raised allegation that CPI-M leaders and workers are victim of violence, atrocity, physical torture and economic barrier in Tripura. They raised this allegation during their visit to different affected areas of South district today.
The delegation reached to Sabroom after visiting different parts of South district today.
Addressing a press conference at CPM party office the delegation said, “there is no environment of democracy in the state and dreadful activities are going on in the state and CPI-M workers are being attacked in the state every day.”
The members of delegation further said, “Mid-day-meal workers for cooking have been sacked from their posts, the farmers of the state are in stake. They said that greater agitation would be started in the state if the government fails to bring back democratic environment in the state.
MP K.K. Prasad, MP Ashoke Bitteyal, MP. R. Singh, MP Sankar Prasad Dutta, MLA Badal Choudhury and Prabhat Choudhury and South District Secretary of CPI-M Basudeb Majumder, Belonia Subdivision Secretary of CPI-M Tapas Dutta were among the delegation.
