The Tripura Health and Family Welfare Department on Thursday issued a press communiqué to appeal the people of this state not to put an ear on any rumours regarding the novel Corona Virus affect. The Press communiqué released today stated no case of coronavirus has been reported so far in the state of Tripura.
It stated, "One in Tripura who visited the affected states and country so far is being monitored closely. But till date, he is not detected with the novel virus."
The Press communiqué however also stated that the health departments across the state is working continuously moving line with the central government's direction to create more awareness among the general public about the symptoms of the virus, Dos and Don'ts.
"The health department has already taken the precautionary measures since January 15 this year in different corners of the state," said the press communiqué.
