The next media OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club will be conducted by senior physicians Dr Bhupen Deka and Dr Paresh Sarma on 18 November next.
The participants will get free consultations between 3 pm and 5 pm in the Saturday camp, which has been organized under the ‘Evening with a Doctor’ program for the benefit of press club members along with their dependants.
The last camp on 11 November was graced by Dr Soumar Dutta (emergency medicine) from North Guwahati based Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, where over 25 participants received consultations after getting checked their blood pressure & sugar by staff nurse Dipika Thakuria and health executive Jnyandeep Kalita.
Till date, practicing physicians from Apollo Chennai Hospital, Chennai SIMS Hospital, Manipal Bangalore Hospital, Fortis Hospital Bangalore, Medanta the Medicity Hospital, Down Town Hospital, GNRC Hospitals, Dispur Hospital, Hayat Hospital, Ayursundra Hospital, Excelcare Hospital, Nemcare Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First Eye-Clinic, Barthakur Clinic, Wintrobe Hospital etc have attended the camps.
