Along with the rest of the nation, the 4th National Lok Adalat is held here at Agartala Lower Division Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Saturday. High Court Justice Arindam Lodh informed that a total of 4641 cases related to Bank Loan Recovery, BSNL Bill Recovery, and other civil cases were tabled in the Lok Adalat on Saturday.
He said 17 cases related to Insurance Company compensation were tabled in the High Court level along with 43 Negotiable Instruments Act cases, 133 matrimonial disputes and other pre-litigation cases were tabled in the Lok Adalat.
Justice Arindam Lodh, however, pointed out and said that currently, the Lok Adalat in Tripura is facing a series of barrier with the insurance company cases which are required to be monitored further.
