The previous Left Front government provided allowances to many fake beneficiaries under different projects of state and central government. The coalition government led by BJP assured to increase the amount of all allowances from Rs. 700 to Rs. 2000 by verifying documents of beneficiaries.
Accordingly the concerned departments are collecting the documents from the beneficiaries of allowances. The documents were collected at Uttar Charilam Anganwadi Center before one month. At last the authority announced the names of 600 beneficiaries pointing out who are eligible and who are in list of deletion at Liladeb Smriti Community Hall on December 21.
The eligible beneficiaries became happy on hearing their name and they went back to their house. At the same time the ineligible beneficiaries broke out into tears on hearing their name.
However many of them could not understand how they selected the eligible and ineligible beneficiaries. Now it is necessary to clarify how the old beneficiaries became eligible and others became ineligible.
From information it revealed that many needy families deprived of BPL, Antyoday, Annapurna and Ration card during the period of Left Front. Besides, many rich families and service holders got the facilities of fake allowances. It was necessary the verification during investigation of documents.
At the same time many APL families have no government service. Many BPL families deprived of BPL card, Antyoday and Annapurna due to political background of the families. Now the families should be brought under consideration to provide them allowance.
However the ineligible allowance beneficiaries have been instructed to submit less than 1lakh annual income certificate from gazetted officer and DCM.
