Chief Judicial Magistrate of Sonamura Court granted four days police remand for Alamgir Hossen (Roni) according to appeal of police today. He murdered his wife Aka Ahamed by pressing her throat at his house in broad daylight before 4 days.
Roni’s mother Sahida Bibi, elder sister Machuma Begam allegedly co-operated him fully to do this crime. Father of Rani Mantaj Mia allegedly cooperated in the murder indirectly. Police of Sonamura Police Station received the complaint from the father of the victim.
Accordingly police filed the case on May 31 according to Section 120 (B), 498 (A), 304 (B), 34 of IPC and case no – 65/2019. Police arrested Roni and produced him to court today.
Aka was pregnant and she also appeared Higher Secondary exam conducted by TBSE this year.
The incident has created strong resentment among the people of Ward no- 9 under Sonamura Nagar Panchayat. They demanded exemplary punishment of the accused.
