A team of the land port authority of India under the leadership of Chairman Aditya Mishra visited Sabroom today. MLA Sankar Roy has also joined the delegation.
Reportedly, the visit was made pertaining to the proposed land custom station in Sabroom.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will be visiting Sabroom tomorrow to inaugurate a newly built Manughat Primary Health center. After the meeting, he is likely to preside over an administrative meeting at Sabroom revenue bungalow to assess the ongoing works.
MLA Sankar Roy in the sidelines of the visit told media persons that soon the proposed land custom station would be made operational along with the Sabroom Feni Bridge.
