A joint delegation of Tripura State Assembly visited different educational institutes and hostels of Kailashahar today. During visit the delegation team got informed about different problems of the institutes.
Later the team will submit the report at the upcoming assembly session. The officials of different department were accompanied the officials.
The joint delegation of MLAs visited Tilabazar Madrassa Hostel at first and got informed about problems faced by boarders and workers. The workers alleged that 5 Group- D workers are engaged at the hostel but their salary suspended during last one year. Besides, the Madrassa has no permanent headmaster for long time.
Later the team visited SC and ST hostel of RKI. The delegation members expressed resentment observing the old fashioned building and insufficient arrangement of the hostels. The students of SC hostel alleged that they cannot get proper food and there is no proper arrangement of drinking water and play materials in the hostels. Besides, the hostel students are suffering due to lack of cleanliness. The delegation team noted down all allegations.
Then the delegation team visited the hostel of Bhagini Nibedita Girl’s School.
The MLAs Krishnadhan Das, Sudhan Das, Sahid Choudhury, Mabaswar Ali were included in the delegation team. Besides, SDM Bishal Kumar, BDO Soma Deb and School Education Officer were included in the delegation. The delegation team organized a meeting at circuit house in the afternoon.
