The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), on Monday, has introduced another ‘Bharat Darshan Tourist Train’ from Agartala for 8 nights 9 days tour package to spiritual and historical places. The trip of the Bharat Darshan Tourist Train is scheduled on December 6 from Agartala Railway Station.
Informing this to the media here at Agartala in a press conference, Anuj Datta, the Additional General Manager of IRCTC North East Frontier Railway said, "Taking a cue from the massive response of the people of Tripura in previous tourist trains from Agartala, the Indian Railways has decided to introduce second of its tourist train from Agartala which shall cover Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar."
He said, "The tour package will cover Gangasagar and Dakhineshwar Temple in Kolkata, Jagannath Temple and Konark Sun Temple of Puri and Lingaraj Temple, Udaygiri and Khandgiri of Bhubneswar."
Meantime, Mr. Datta said that the cost of the traveling fare is Rs. 8,505 per person and this includes food and other facilities for the tourist on board and during the entire travel.
