Amid country-wide lockdown, Indigo's first cargo flight on Saturday afternoon landed at Agartala MBB Airport ferrying essential medical supplies weighing 1551kgs.
A twitter handle of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) of Agartala MBB airport confirmed this stating, "A320 with Flt No 6E-9012 landed Agartala Airport from Kolkata via Imphal at 13:16 IST."
Earlier on April 2, the 3rd Cargo flight operated under "LIFELINE UDAN" by GOI landed today at MBB Airport Agartala at from DEL via Kolkata.
The flight operated by Alliance Air brought a consignment of essential medical supplies including 111 packets weighing 1167.1 kg including mail for Tripura.
However, the AAI of Agartala MBB airport today distributed essential food items to many needy families & workers from the funds contributed by all stakeholders of the MBB Airport, Agartala.
This aims to support the government's advisory of ensuring social distancing and isolation at home.
