Manpathar Taikarma Holycross High School of Shantirbazar up graded to Higher Secondary School through a formal programme today.
MP Jitendra Choudhury inaugurated the programme by lighting lamp in presence of MLA Pramode Reang, SDM Animesh Debbarma, Father Simon C.S. C. and Principal Father D. Suja and others.
The Catholic Residential English Medium School started its journey since 1982 and bringing forward the tribal and non tribal students of the subdivision. The guardians expressed their happiness today for up gradation of the school into H.S. level.
Inaugurating the annual prize distribution programme of the school Chief Guest Jitendra Choudhury said, “Students of today are citizens of future”. He appealed the guardians to come forward for up gradation of their studies and making them as good human being.
The school has 1412 students at present including 27 students of class- XI.
