The state government is going to introduce different facilities of treatment at 108 PHCs and more than one thousand sub centers. Department of homeopathic and ayurvedic will be available at the centers, said Health minister Sudip Roy Barman while inaugurating Mega Health Camp organized by Udaipur Press Club today.
Among others MLA Sushanta Choudhury delivered speech while Secretary of Udaipur Press Club Dilip Dutta delivered the welcome address. President of the press club Apuram Sarkar presided over the programme. Altogether 7 doctors of ILS Hospital and two doctors of Health department rendered their service at the health camp. On the occasion 475 patients got free treatment and medicine at the Mega Health Camp.
Speaking on the occasion Health minister stressed on changing life style by bringing discipline on food habit, sleep and leaving addiction. He also emphasized on regular physical exercise leaving the excess use of mobile phone and viewing TV.
Referring Health department is trying to introduce developed medical service in the state he said, initiative is going on to prevent movement of patients at other states for developed treatment. The department is thinking of bringing more doctors from out of the state.
Meanwhile the department has taken initiative to bring two neurosurgeon and one heart specialist from out of the state. Effort is going on to bring another specialist surgeon for Cancer Hospital.
