Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday said that his government needs to be matured enough to bring over all development in the state despite it be the fact that a major development has come up in the field of employment opportunities in the state. "As a child is not capable enough to bring gold medal for their parents like that of 10th pass children, my government also needs to be more matured to bring over all development in the state," said Mr. Deb.
Mr. Deb was addressing the annual general conference of Tripura OBC Cooperative Development Corporation here at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.
The Chief Minister distributed as many as 25 auto-rickshaws among the OBC beneficiaries on Friday and said, "My government is committed to provide driving license and permit to the genuine auto-rickshaw drivers."
The Chief Minister blamed the previous government and said earlier permit was provided to those who rented their vehicles to lead others. The Chief Minister further said the previous government has simply ruled the state for the last 25 years in the name of poor government and deprived the poor in the state.
