In between huge elan and enthusiasm, selection camp of Gomati district athletics team for the upcoming state athletics tournament held today at KBI field in Udaipur.
Athletes from Udaipur, Amarpur and Karbook subdivision took part in this selection camp as the number has been around 150. Nagar Panchayet chairman Subrata Deb inaugurated this camp.
Among the other dignitaries Samarendra Roy, Secretary of Gomati District Athletic Association, Secretary Chanchal Majumder remained present. Amiya Kumar Das went there as observer from Agartala. The camp held in 60 events and from that the district team has been formed.
At the end prize distribution ceremony was held as secretary believed that the best team has been formed.
